Flexaret VI Meopta TLR

Flexaret is a brand of Twin Lens Reflex cameras produced by the Czechoslovak company, Meopta from 1939-1970. Having always had a fascination for all things Soviet, and TLR cameras, you could imagine my elation when my husband surprised me with this gorgeous Flexaret VI. Purchased from a collector, it’s a perfect specimen with not a scratch on it, and included the original 35mm converter, case, and even the box with manual (!!).

Holding such a beautiful piece of art in its own right is a bit daunting, and my first couple days out with it on its home streets of Prague have yet to be developed. What I do have to share is a city which is also in its own right, pure art: Paris.

The following are images taken between December 10th-12th, 2018. All the film used is Portra 800 (120 format).
