India in Analogue
Heading to India for the first time came with emotions of pure excitement, accompanied by anxiety that I wouldn’t be able to capture it’s grandeur, liveliness, and contradictions. It was also an opportunity to revisit a camera from my childhood - the Minolta X-700. With the Minolta Rikkor MD 45mm f/2 mounted, and Portra 400 loaded, I aimed to do a country teeming with life as much justice as I can.
The photos below were taken between the dates of February 24th through March 7th in the cities of Delhi, Vrindavan, Agra, Mumbai, and all the various transports in between. Film stock is majority Portra 400, with a few Kodak UltraMax 400 shots.
